- Sometimes, if you are logged in via the www.team-halo.net homepage and the Administrator Control Panel (ACP), it can cause an error message to appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen when trying to post a new topic, or edit an old one. FIX: Log out of both the ACP and the homepage, close all your browser windows, then log back in to either the homepage or the ACP (you can edit news from the homepage, while you can edit and post new content from the ACP).
- The Members page is buggy, period. FIX: None. Grit your teeth and try again...
- The Admin Control Panel (ACP) will, at times, show multiple entries of the same individual. FIX: If the individual shown many times over is you, simply log out by pressing the red, "X" to the right of your name in the list. Then log back in and you should only see 1 entry. *Note* Showing up multiple times in the ACP does not cause any problems, it's just annoying...
- Pressing the, "Forum" navigation button from any page on the www.team-halo.net website will cause you to end up at www.team-halo.net/forum without your, "automatically remembered" password. FIX: None. For some reason it dumps your normal cookies (my advice is to have a separate entry in your Favorite's list for both the website and the forum) and wants to make you log in each time.
- Under the Add/Edit Squad section in the ACP you'll end up with ghost users, with functions still showing, that cannot be manipulated, if you delete a user from the website before removing them from a squad!. FIX: Make sure to delete an individual from the team before taking them off the site!
- joomlaXplorer is currently reporting the following error upon clicking its link under components: ERROR(S):
The home directory doesn't exist, check your settings. (C:\Inetpub\vhosts\team-halo.net\httpdocs\) FIX: None at this time. Might have something to do with the absolute paths present in the global configuration file or the joomlaXplorer config files? Maybe it has a problem with the way the server handles the site's directories? - Careful when editing names of current website members under the, "User Manager" window in the ACP. If you attempt to add something like, "{HALO}The_Wolf" Mitchell" on to, "Kenny" the addition will stick, but will not be recognized by that window (is still there, just invisible). However, when Wolf (or whomevers name was changed) attempts to post under the, "new" name, it will error out on the homepage, blog or whatever page attempts to show that post (error does not harm the post, nor does it cause any ill-effects - it's just annoying). FIX: Tell the individual user to change their own name via the, "Your Details" link on the, "User Menu."
- The, "Wrapper (aka {HALO} Ventrilo Server)" status module causes an error message to be displayed in the lower left hand corner of the, "Members" page. The error is harmless, but it does display the base URL for the status-checker site. FIX: Disable wrapper (unknown).
- More bugs to come, as we dig 'em up... Send me an IM or E-Mail if you find one.
