Welcome to {HALO}, Helicopter And Land Operations, founded on November 20th 2001 by Tactical_Impulse, along with two good friends: The_Wolf and Gray_Fox. As a former prominent & efficient clan leader in Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear & Urban Operations (M Player), I bring to the table the skills I have acquired from running my previous team (((C.R.T.))). I bring structure, training, discipline and fun together for a new level of online team play you can only experience in our special {HALO} unit. {HALO} is a multi-game team, spanning many genres (FPS, RTS, RPG, Simulations and Hybrids). In other words, we're in it for the team, not a single title that we participate in. This assures us that when a game fades away, we remain. So, if you’re up to the challenge, ready for a new level of game play and willing to commit; sign up, fall in and prepare to jump head-first into enemy territory alongside some of the most elite virtual warriors known to man.
{HALO} Code Of Conduct: 1. Helicopter And Land Operation's code of conduct has complete jurisdiction over all other rules, excepting real life obligations. 2. {HALO} members shall not disgrace another {HALO} member in any form, forum, or on the battlefield. 3. Aimbots or any other form of cheat that enhances your playing ability by means other than your true skill are not to be used. 4. Members of {HALO} shall not be judged by gaming tactics (i.e. your game is yours to play). 5. No members of {HALO} will provoke disturbance or insurgence in-game, or out. Problematic players will be dealt with respectively. 6. {HALO}’s business is ours, and ours alone; it will not be aired publicly. 7. All Helicopter And Land Operations members, to the best of their ability, shall maintain a high level of professionalism. 8. Honor is of utmost importance, more meaningful than winning, and it will be upheld. 9. Violation of this code will result in a military tribunal court and the commanders of the squads will assess the violator’s sentence.

Helicopter And Land Operations is an exclusive, “Invitation Only” team. We take pride in our small, specialized group of highly trained personnel. We are not currently stationed in any particular game or community. But, since we are currently looking for, “The Game” for {HALO}, we go through a lot of trials in many different games (usually in the RTS or FPS genre). You must understand that, and be able to live with the fact that if the majority of the team does not enjoy, or function well in a certain game, we will probably move right on by to the next. We value the commitment and friendship of our members more than the games we play.
Let me explain our concept of, “Invitation Only”: In order to be considered by {HALO} for training, or recruitment, you must first have several of the following:
1. A friend, or family member currently working inside {HALO} that can vouch for your personality and commitment. 2. You must play online games regularly, and have an extensive background as a team player. 3. A plethora of communication programs for team correspondence. Ventrilo (for VoiceCom), Xfire (for IM’s, Etc.) and E-Mail are a few examples. 4. A solid well-rounded and likeable personality; this is very important in {HALO}. Considering we are a multi-game team, we spend a lot of time talking and coordinating on Ventrilo, while at the same time getting to know each other. 5. Patience, and a calm, cool attitude are essential aspects of any prospective recruit. 6. You must look for {HALO} members in, and out of games. This will let us know you are seriously interested in becoming a part of our group. Membership in {HALO} is not a function we take lightly. 7. Must have a working microphone (a headset is a plus). Ventrilo is essential. For it is our primary means of communication. Things that we frown upon, and will not allow in our ranks:
1. “The One-Man Army.” The type of person who will not be a team player. 2. “Clan-Hoppers.” People who frequently roam from clan to clan in each game they play. We are a serious team, and expect you to understand that fact. 3. “Cocky-Bastards.” This type of person is all about himself. “I did this.” ”I did that.” “I’m so good.” Etc. This obviously does no good for anyone, and will not be allowed. 4. “Sneaky-Bastards.” Someone who does not participate, and communicate with other team members on a normal basis: Generally a shady character. This is the type that will fall off the face of the Earth and join another clan without ever informing their C.O. Not going to fly in {HALO}. 5. “Major-Pain’s.” Individuals who do not obey their squad’s commanding officer. This type makes holding official league matches, or any coordinated effort much harder, and is not a trait we will put up with. 6. *All-of-the-above. Cross reference those traits and behavior patterns against your own, then decide whether you believe you still qualify for {HALO}.
Although {HALO} is an "Invitation Only" team, feel free to post on our forum if you wish to join, or have any questions about how we operate. If you have requested to join our team, without a {HALO} C.O. asking you, our members will evaluate you in-game at a later date. Then we will see how you fair with our group.
Please list the following information in your recruitment application: Real Name: Callsign: Age: Location: Times You Play: Internet Connection: Headset (w/ Mic) Yes/No: Games You Play: Contact Info (E-Mail, Xfire, Etc.):
Some background information about yourself would also be nice. Doing the preceding will give us a good first impression of your personality, give us insight on your gaming experience and will greatly help your chances of acceptance into {HALO}. Thank you for your interest. -{HALO} Squad Leaders
